The focus on market and customer needs was the inspiration for the restructuring of German sales, which Hüppe GmbH, headquartered in Bad Zwischenahn, is planning for the first quarter of next year. “We want to modernize both the organization and processes so that they meet the requirements of a significantly changed market environment,” explains Axel Stoiber, Sales Director at the renowned shower space specialist since October 2023. “This is essential in order to sustainably improve our competitiveness and future viability.” The planned measures aim, on the one hand, to open up new target groups and expand the key customer business. On the other hand, strict customer orientation across the entire company should help to sustainably increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Closer to the customer

To this end, Hüppe will expand the field service to include sales teams for the important project business and key customer management. “At the same time, we will strengthen regional structures and divide the market into nine sales areas instead of the current three. “In addition, our future project sales will be active in the five central German metropolitan regions,” says Axel Stoiber. “We not only want to increase the agility and regional cooperation of our sales team in order to make it more effective, but also move closer to our customers.” The structural changes are accompanied by accelerated digitalization of sales processes in order to noticeably increase the efficiency and effectiveness of customer communication to increase. In the future, Hüppe’s technical sales will focus primarily on holistic service in large-scale project business.

Personnel changes

The planned transformation is also associated with personnel changes. The manufacturer of shower enclosures, rear walls, shower trays and accessories for the shower area strives to build up the necessary skills through targeted support and qualification of employees in order to be fit for future requirements. “After intensive analysis, this will not always be successful. Therefore, we will not be able to avoid eliminating existing functions and creating additional positions in the new areas of project sales and key account management in 2024,” announces Hüppe CEO Julian Henco.
